I wrote a new song last night. It's up on My Space now. It's a letter in the form of a song. Just So (a letter). Feeling inspired lately. It's good to be writing again.

The Backstage Lounge on Sunday was really fun. Such a comfy atmosphere! I would perform there again without any hesitation. A couple told me I sound Irish when I sing, so much so, that they even asked me where I am from! Accents are hot, so it was quite fun to hear. Thanks to all my friends who showed up that night. That always makes for an exciting evening. It was my first gig in a while, so it felt really good to be up there.

Derek Kehler was naturally amazing, and Adrian Glynn was absolutely mesmerizing. I wish I had seen him previous, as he is leaving for India, and I won't be able to see him live for quite some time. I'll be performing again at the Media Club this Tuesday, so I hope to see everyone there. Cheers!

Derek Kehler has asked me to perform at the Backstage Lounge this Sunday. It's a bit short notice, but I'm glad to. I've never actually been to Granville Island before, so this will be a fun evening. I feel shaken lately, in a good way. Perhaps there will be a new song.

I'm looking forward to the show in August. There are a some coming from the Island to see me, so the excitment is building as I prepare an all original set. There are some old, and very personal songs for that night that I haven't played live before, so I'm a little nervous. I hope people get it. I don't feel like spoon feeding the crowd that night, so I'm just going to be myself completely. I will hopefully have the acoustic EP finished by then.

The Website is up! Note that this is still under construction. The bio is coming soon, there will be a player on an actual 'listen' page instead of redirecting to MySpace and there will be a 'news' page for less personal entries such as this one. As you may see, you need a high resolution on your monitor for best viewing. Lower resolutions will be accomodated in the future. Thanks for stopping by!
